On Lindsey Graham’s Death

Regarding Lindsey Graham’s death and the far Right’s admonishment of those they accuse of being happy that he’s gone:

I don’t feel joy. I feel sadness.

Sadness about the good things Lindsey Graham could have done in the ending chapter of his life if he weren’t under Trump’s thumb.

Sadness about the fact that there are certainly others with that power who are also beholden to Trump for reasons known only to them.

Sadness that Graham was unable to redeem himself in his own eyes before he died.

But hope that his soul will return with the wisdom to truly make things better and the experience to keep the demons at bay.

The far Right are gleefully admonishing anyone who isn't heartbroken by Graham's passing, because they assume the latter are Dumocrats. Let’s not forget how President Trump responded to well-respected Senator and Veteran John McCain’s death. The President of the United States sets the moral tone for the entire country, and if you didn't disapprove of his reaction to McCain's death and the deaths of others standing in his way, then you have no right to disapprove of lay-persons' reactions to Graham's death.

Please stop the accusations so we can all move forward together.
